    Dan Mall

    Dan Mall is a creative director and advisor from Philly. He’s the founder and CEO of SuperFriendly, a design collaborative that helps in-house teams make better digital products with design systems. Dan is an enthralled husband & dad, author of Pricing Design, and co-founder of SuperBooked, a service that helps you find work with a little help from your friends. He writes about design and other issues on http://twitter.com/danmall and on his industry-recognized site, danmall.me.

  • Hayley Hughes

    Hayley Hughes

    Hayley Hughes hails from the hot deserts of Arizona and the humid forests of Georgia. She's an artist turned graphic designer turned experience designer who resides in sunny Austin, Texas and works remotely from everywhere. Hayley is currently a Design Director for Nike’s Design System. Previously, she established the IBM Design Language, operationalized the Airbnb DLS, and led an evolution of Shopify’s Polaris Design System. Her work is featured in IBM’s “26 Innovations by 26 Innovative Women” and she is a certified Design Thinking Leader. Outside of work, Hayley likes to play Scrabble with senior citizens, throw tennis balls to her poodle, and eat Japanese comfort food with her partner.

    Ben Callahan

    Sparkbox was founded in 2009 with a mission to build a better web. As President, Ben has helped lead and grow the organization while they work alongside clients like Gap, The Oklahoma City Thunder, and Stanford University.

    He’s focused his energy most recently on developing a maturity model for design systems, articulating the anatomy of design systems, and chronicling his findings about workplace culture in the tech space. When not knee-deep in these explorations with others, Ben is a father, partner, poet, and home barista. His personal motto is, “Stay in learning mode” and this helps him to remember that every interaction is an opportunity to grow.

    Vitaly Friedman

    Vitaly Friedman loves beautiful content and doesn’t like to give in easily. When he is not writing or speaking at a conference, he’s most probably running front-end/UX workshops and webinars. He loves solving complex UX, front-end and performance problems.
